I’m Alex, a Brooklyn-based ECD/Writer, happily freelancing and creative consulting with agencies and brands.

Throughout my 20+ year career, I’ve created and led well-known campaigns and projects that are strategically tight, deeply based in consumer or cultural truth, and that always rise to the level of being genuine entertainment.

My goal every day is to create the most visible, most memorable and most effective work in any given category. (Because otherwise, why bother?)

I’ve been fortunate to work alongside many of the best in the business at agencies like BBDO NY, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and Publicis/Le Truc, on brands like Snickers, AT&T, Tide, Audible, Subway, Nissan and Foot Locker. And I’m very experienced in all phases of production, whether it’s video, social or PR activations.

My work has been awarded at many of the best international award shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Effies and AICP. But I get much more pleasure from mainstream press, and have been happy to see my projects appear on The Today Show, CNN, Fast Company, ESPN, Bleacher Report, The New York Times, TBS Funniest Commercials of the Year (#1), New York Magazine Approval Matrix (lowbrow/brilliant) and as a cornball punch line on Real Time with Bill Maher.

I’m very enthusiastic about side projects and IP creation, with highlights that include Hikea, a video series featuring real people on hallucinogenic substances attempt to build Ikea furniture, and Killing the Coat, a short film directed by Aaron Stoller that was a Vimeo Staff Pick and premiered at the Brooklyn Short Film Festival.

I’m a very positive guy who genuinely enjoys this business. My work reflects my personality. I care about people, give my love to unique characters and I feel great joy anytime I get a laugh.

I’m always looking for new partnerships with smart, ambitious brands and the agencies that represent them.

Oh, hi
